Intelligence ACCIDENT AT THE RAILWAY STATION.—On Wednesday morning last, a man named Round, employed as a Porter at the Cradley Station, came out of the machine house at the same time an engine was shunting, the consequence was that one of the waggons caught the door of the machine house, which threw poor Round under the waggons, and nearly severed one of the legs from his body. Mr. Hodson, surgeon, was immediately on the spot and at once accompanied Round to the Birmingham General Hospital, where his leg was amputated. |
