DISTRICT INTELLIGENCE ACCIDENT AT THE RAILWAY STATION:- A woman, named Burley, employed at Mr.Rufford's brickworks, met with an accident, on Monday evening, from a train. She was standing in the siding by the brickworks, when a passenger train was backed in that direction, and, apparently not being aware of it, she was crushed by the buffers. She was carried to Mr.James Matthew's house, and subsequently sent home in a cab, the company's surgeon attending her.
